The 777-9 is the largest and most efficient twin-engine jet in the world, offering airlines a range of up to 7,525 nautical miles. The aircraft is also equipped with the latest technology, including a next-generation flight deck and cabin interior. Ethiopian Airlines expects to begin taking delivery of its 777-9s in 2025.
The order for the 777-9s is part of Ethiopian Airlines' ongoing fleet modernization program. The airline has already taken delivery of several Boeing 787 Dreamliners and is committed to expanding its fleet of widebody aircraft.
