Scheduled for Launch in 2024
Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana
Ariane 6, Europe's new heavy-lift launch vehicle, is scheduled to launch on 9 July 2024. The launch window is from 1500-1900 local time at Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana.
The Ariane 6 launch vehicle is a European Space Agency (ESA) program that will provide Arianespace with new levels of efficiency and flexibility to meet the evolving needs of the commercial and institutional launch markets.
A Decade in the Making
The European Space Agency has waited about a decade for the first launch of Ariane 6, a powerful new rocket that will replace the extremely successful Ariane 5.
Ariane 6 will be launched from Europe's Spaceport in French Guiana from a new launch site 4 km west of the Ariane 5 launch pad.
