Boeing Appoints Joyce as Vice Chair of the Board

Former GE Aviation President and CEO Brings Extensive Aviation Experience

The Boeing Company board of directors announced the appointment of David L. Joyce as vice chair of the board, effective immediately. Joyce, who has served as a Boeing director since 2021, brings extensive experience in the aviation industry to his new role.

Prior to joining Boeing, Joyce served as President and CEO of GE Aviation, where he oversaw the company's commercial and military aircraft engine businesses. He also held the position of vice chair of General Electric from 2016 until his retirement in 2021.
